From a young age, I knew I wanted a career that would make a difference in people's lives. This interest led me to study psychology, which eventually became a full-time occupation. As a professional psychologist based in Florianópolis, I am committed to the well-being of all my patients, dedicating myself to meeting their needs.
Each client is important to me, and I dedicate myself to helping them find the answers they seek and discover a happier and more peaceful mind.
My Journey
Rita Jones, psychologist (CRP12/08202), graduated in 1992. She works with psychoanalytically based therapy, supported by Mindfulness (Extension Course PUCRS 2023).
Training in Psychoanalysis at the Freudiana/RJ training center in 1993 and at EBP/SC in 2009.
MBA in Human Resources Management from FGV/RJ in 2006.
Dedicated to the daily practice of Yoga and Meditation since 2016, and a student and practitioner of Buddhism.
Yoga instructor certified by Yoga Alliance.
Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Psychoanalysis and Contemporary Analysis at PUCRS.
What motivates me
I offer patients in Florianópolis (in person) and anywhere else (online) a variety of psychological services tailored to their needs.
